Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now burning the last of its daylight hours on Kickstarter as the campaign draws to a close later tonight. The medieval RPG has over £1.05 million raised.
The tournament stretch goal has been secured, along with a dog companion. Should these final hours push to £1.2 million then Warhorse will pursue better voiceovers for the non-fantasy RPG.
There are over 33,300 backers throwing their coin pursues at this ambitious medieval world. Even Star Citizen's Chris Roberts has pledged, with his studio in an unofficial partnership.
"We already started talking to different talent agencies and we have a rough idea how much we would need to hire our favorite actors. So, we’re confident that IF we reach our next stretch goal (£1.2m), we will be able to hire at least one high profile actor or actress. In the game, you’d be able to not only hear their voice, but also see their likeness and their acting abilities (thanks to performance capture)," said Warhorse.
They'd love to get the likes of Sean Bean or Brian Blessed in their RPG kingdom, but can't promise anything at this stage. Kingdom Come: Deliverance will also be coming to consoles Xbox One and PS4, having received approval from both Microsoft and Sony. Warhorse would self-publish digitally, but might consider physical retail too.
