Slightly strange scheduling seeing as the film was released last year, but developers Freedom Factory Studios and publisher UIG Entertainment are bringing an official Kick Ass 2 video game to PC and consoles next month. There’s a trailer out now, with much kicking and punching.
The developers describe the game as “a classic beat-em-up featuring brutal finishing moves and animations straight from the movie and comic-book.” You play as Kick Ass himself, though Hit Girl and Jim Carrey’s Colonel Stars and Stripes will also appear.
There’s no exact date revealed yet beyond May 2014.
