The first footage of From Software’s new (basically Dark Souls) game Project Beast has leaked, showing the familiar sight of a grizzled warrior hacking his way through a grim fantasy world before coming up against… well, actually I don’t know what the hell that is.
Rumour has it that this will be a PS4 exclusive, but as that’s not been confirmed as yet we can hope that it will make its way to PC too, just as the Dark Souls game have.
Dark Souls producer Hidetaka Miyazaki, recently appointed president of From Software, is returning to oversee the creation of Project Beast after stepping back to let others take charge on Dark Souls II.
Will it make an appearance at E3 2014? I wouldn’t bet against it.
On a side note, how cool do the new fog gates look, with those grasping spectral hands? Very cool is the answer.
