F.E.A.R Online brings both PvP multiplayer and a co-op singleplayer campaign, and developer InPlay Interactive has apparently listened to fan feedback from previous Beta tests, adding "new maps, a new scenario, and a redesigned crafting system which allows for making one-of-a-kind weapons".
More interesting modes include Soul King, where one player takes on the role of a ghost who can possess and control his opponents, and another team deathmatch mode where players can transform into a horrifying beastie.
The co-op campaign takes place around the same time as F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin, and sees players take on the PMC goons of the nefarious Armacham corporation, as well as hideous monsters summoned from the mind of the powerful psychic Alma.
