Turns out that the discovery of a PEGI listing for Valkyria Chronicles did indeed mean that the cult tactical RPG was on its way to the PC. Now we know when.
Square Enix has confirmed that a digital version of the game will launch on PC this November 11, and will come with every single DLC pack already available for the PS3 edition.
It's possible you may not have heard of Valkyria Chronicles, which was a big critical success but not such a hit commercially. It's a strategic RPG set in a fictional world inspired by the First World War, in which two superpowers are battling for control of a war-torn continent. The game features both a zoomed-out strategic camera for you to plan your troop movements, and a character-level camera that lets you take direct control of your squad.
As for the extra DLC, there's a few extra missions for you to sink your teeth into. I've listed them below.
· Hard EX Mode (harder versions of skirmish missions in the main game)
· Edy’s Mission “Enter the Edy Detachment” (a side story campaign)
· Selveria’s Mission “Behind Her Blue Flame” (a side story campaign)
· Challenge of the Edy Detachment (six challenge missions)
