Daum Games and Pearl Abyss have been gearing up for the western port of the popular action-RPG MMO Black Desert Online for sometime now. The first of a first of the planned Beta testing periods is coming up and Daum Games has opened sign-ups to invite players to get in on the action.
Players can go to the official western Black Desert Online website to sign up for a chance to be involved in the upcoming beta. Originally, the only way to access the Beta was to pre-order the game at the Conquerer’s Package Tier.
During the Beta, players will have access to all character classes previously announced and available in the Alpha of the game, as well as the recently featured Tamer class. Players will be able to explore a new region of Calpheon and its capital city of the same name. Players have until December 9 at 8AM UTC to sign up, shortly after which announcements will be made regarding selection, exact date and time of the Beta, and download links.
The Beta is scheduled to take place starting on Wednesday, December 16 at 7AM UTC and end on Tuesday, December 22 at the same time. Black Desert Online is expected to release in early 2016, though no concrete release date is set yet.
