StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void has been in Beta for a few months now, and Blizzard is almost ready to reveal when the final chapter of its sci-fi RTS space opera series is ready to release in full.
The studio will announce the date in a special Twitch livestream on September 13, suggesting that the date isn’t too far away at all.
You can watch it over on the Starcraft 2 Twitch channel on that date, at 10am PDT/6pm GMT. The game’s opening cinematic will be shown off too (sort of a big deal for fans, considering the amount of cash Blizzard pours into its trailers), along with some newly announced features for the expansion.
A three-mission prologue for Legacy of the Void, Whispers of Oblivion, is currently available for pre-order customers.
