According to an article on Gematsu, Sega had recently filed a Japanese patent in mid-October for something called “Aoki Kakumei no Valkyria”. Recently the company followed up with a patent for the English title of the project, “Valkyria: Azure Revolution”.
The Valkyria Chronicles games are a series of tactical strategy role-playing games. There are 3 entries in the main series, though Valkyria Chronicles 3 has never seen official release outside of Japan. The first Valkyria Chronicles was originally only on the PlayStation 3, but found it’s way over to Steam on PC in November of 2014. The possibility continued support on PC is certainly there.
As of this time, information is limited outside of the filing of these patents, though it is clear that Sega is gearing up for another take in the Valkyria series.
