The Walking Dead, Fables, Game of Thrones, Borderlands have enjoyed success as a Telltale Games series, and now Batman is the newest licensed property to have an episodic series developed by studio. The game was revealed at the Video Game Awards before having a brief presser on the official Telltale Games site.
”At Telltale, we’ve been honored to bring our unique approach to interactive storytelling to some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be exploring what it means to be Batman in an all-new series starting next year,” announced Telltale CEO and co-founder Kevin Bruner, in a press release. “This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy.”
Very little of the series has been revealed save the fact that it will star Batman, hit PC and consoles and will debut sometime in 2016. No official title has been revealed, let alone any sort of plot. It’s a sure bet that this Batman game will be fairly stable, however.
Stay tuned for more info in the coming months.
