Microsoft unveiled the Surface Pro 4 at their Windows 10 Event, showing off a tablet-laptop hybrid that not only is lighter and thinner than ever, but boasts tech specs that allow for some heavy duty on-the-go PC gaming, with the latest chipset and upgradeable memory.
According to the company, the 8.44mm wide device will feature a special G5 chipset to run the optical stack, allowing for 5 million pixels on its 12.3 Pixel Sense screen. The Surface Pro 4 will include a 6th gen Intel processor that will allow the device to be upgraded to a whopping 16GB RAM with 1TB of storage. And to ensure that such power doesn’t get too hot, it’ll include a special hybrid cooling system.
The best part is that the base price will be a mere $899. Not bad if you want to bring Star Wars: Battlefront with you on vacation.
