Indie developer Fatshark has announced the first free downloadable content pack coming to their Left 4 Skaven co-op shooter Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide, Sigmar’s Blessing. The developer stated it was in celebration of reaching 300,000 sales since the game’s launch.
Sigmar’s Blessing will allow players to control what loot is dropped in-game, as well as a new altar in the inn, the player’s home base, which allows players to dump their own loot to improve their arsenal. The DLC will also include new traits and “red class” weapon drops.
Fatshark is also including a solo player mode they call a “private mode”, allowing players to take on the Skaven challenge alone; previously, players had to set up a private room then launch the game without teammates.
Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide was launched this past October, and the Sigmar’s Blessing DLC will be live on 3 December 2015.
