If you have a hunger for cyberpunk themes in your point and click adventures, then Shadow of Nebula could be right up your neon-lit street.
Beginning life on Kickstarter, Shadow of Nebula casts players as an intergalactic courier whose ship has crash landed on an alien planet. Cue much dialogue, puzzle-solving and more cyberpunk themes than you can shake an electric sheep at.
In addition to all that, the game also allows players to enter a parallel cyberspace world where they can interact with characters and hack systems that affect aspects of the real world.
Although already Greenlit on Steam Greenlight, developers Bisonia are looking to raise an additional $50,000 via Kickstarter by April 20th. The team states that the majority of those funds will be used to shore up the English language side of things (English isn’t Bisonia’s first language).
As of this writing, they have raised $1,870 with 35 days left to go.
If you do fancy throwing down some money, you’ll be pleased to know that the developer has very kindly put a playable demo of the game on their Kickstarter page, acting as a timely reminder that the Kickstarter pitches that come with demos are often the best ones.
The developer is asking for $10 as the least amount of money you need to front to get a copy of the game on either Windows PC, Mac or Linux and paying this amount also secures you a digital copy of the soundtrack into the bargain.
Shadow of Nebula looks like its shaping up quite nicely indeed, so check out the game’s Kickstarter page if you haven’t already.
