Angels Fall First is an insanely ambitious shooter/RTS/space-dogfighting hybrid that’s just been successfully Greenlit on Steam. As you can see from a trailer released by developer Strangely Interactive, it’s looking rather promising.
Essentially what you’ve got here is a spin on the Battlefront formula, one with some stunningly pretty graphics. Whether you want to play as a frontline grunt, space fighter ace, or ship of the line admiral, the game has you covered.
“Thankyou to everybody who voted us through greenlight in a totally unexpected 6 days,” writes a pretty stunned development team. “We were a bit taken aback, as we thought we’d have a bit more time to put up media and stoke the hype engine. However we’ve added a more in-depth video with information on how AFF plays.

Here’s a nice touch, too; if you fancy playing Angels Fall First offline, you can jump into a game with full bot support. Perfect for miserable, anti-social curmudgeons like me! Providing the AI isn’t as dumb as a box of rocks, of course.
