StarCraft 2 is coming to a close and the Protoss are set to deliver the final chapter of the hit real-time strategy. In honor of this, Blizzard’s MOBA, Heroes of the Storm has a very cool exclusive for players that pre-order StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void. Those who did will have access to the new Protoss hero, Artanis, before his official release on October 27th.
Artanis is a warrior that is tuned towards bringing the fight to the heart of his enemies. His abilities allow him to lead the charge, change places with and put an enemy out of position, and strike his enemies multiple times with his regular melee attacks. In addition, Artanis’s passive trait gives him a shield when his health drops below half, allowing him to stay in the fight longer. Finally, Artanis’s ultimate attacks are unlimited range abilities that allow him to deliver a blinding debuff to his enemies or damage a single enemy outright, allowing Artanis to be a threat to a team fight even from afar.
Artanis will be available to the general public on October 27th, to see more about him and the new Heroes of the Storm patch, check out the notes here.
