Cloud saving is a feature that allows a unique kind of availability in games. With cloud saving, you can save data to your account for a game and then access that data across several platforms that you might own the game on. In a recent correspondence, we learned that Telltale intends to implement this in numerous future products and already has in at least one.
Head of Creative Communications at Telltale, Job J. Stauffer was recently on Twitter to answer questions regarding some of the newest products coming from the Telltale studio. One of these was about whether players would eventually be able to carry choices from Telltale Games between multiple devices on their Telltale Game Accounts. Surprisingly, Stauffer answered that not only was this going to be implemented, but the process has already begun.
.@Babylonian as a matter of fact, yes! Our 1st step w/ this was taken between PC & Mobile for @Minecraft: #StoryMode https://t.co/sINg0c0XPA

Cloud saving is something that can be used right now on Minecraft: Story Mode, at least between PCs/Macs and mobile devices. Stauffer went on to include the support FAQ on the functionality and use of the system. It’s impressive to say the least and definitely players who don’t want to stop the game or start up something fresh on their phone. With cloud saving, you can keep your game going wherever you go.
It’s not just Minecraft: Story Mode either. Telltale seems ready to move this functionality onto all sorts of other projects in the future, so it would appear that gaming on the go is about to get a substantial upgrade, at least for Telltale Games.
