Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski’s studio Boss Key Productions will lift the lid on his new project sometime this week, after many months of not particularly exciting teases.
An official website is up, and publisher Nexon’s community manager Rohan Rivas says that over the next few days we’ll learn a lot more about ‘The Shattering’ – though Bleszinski himself has confirmed that’s not the official title.
Presumably ‘The Shattering’ refers to something in the game’s lore. All signs are pointing to the game being some kind of sci-fi deal, so possibly we’re talking about a massive apocalyptic event. Or maybe not.
We’ll find out in three days, according to the site’s countdown timer. Whether this is all connected to the previously announced, Unreal 4-powered F2P shooter (currently labeled Project Bluestreak) that Bleszinski is working on remains to be seen.
