Activision has released the first gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s next piece of DLC, the Ascendance map pack DLC. I hate it!
Not the DLC itself you understand, I’m sure that will be fair to enjoyable, but the god-awful ‘Kerrrrazeee!’, shouty, bad-rock-music tone of the trailer.
You’ve got a new Exo Zombies level here, Infection, along with four multiplayer maps, a new Exo Grapple playlist, and the OHM hybrid weapon. Said weapon can switch between a shotgun and an LMG, which is, to be fair, kind of cool. The Grapple playlist sounds like an interesting idea, too.
New maps Perplex, Site 244, Climate and Chop Shop all look nice too, though I prefer the in-universe near-future stuff to Site 244, which features a crashed alien spaceship at Mt. Rushmore.
The Ascendance map pack is out first on Xbox One March 31 (hooray for exclusivity deals!), and will follow on afterwards for PC and PS4.
