Right, you lot love zombies right? Well every single game in the world seems to pack in the undead at some point, so someone out there does.
Well let’s cut to the chase; if you want some zombies to blow up, developer Loren Lemcke’s indie title has them, Over 9000 Zombies! To be exact. The indie arcade shoot ‘em up is available now on Steam.
In the words of publisher Mastertronic, the game “combines the unyielding urgency of arcade action with the clever strategy of tower-defence to create a riotous festival of (un)death.” You can pick your weapons, build up some defences then fend off the hordes.
Powered by ‘Zombie Swarm Intelligence’ AI, flaming zombies, poison zombies, zombie animals, giant eyeballs and even “the risen remains of political figures” will thencome bounding over to try and eat you. You must shoot them. Obviously.
We found the game enjoyable enough budget fun when we had a go last year. It certainly won’t burn a hole in your wallet – you can grab it for the very reasonable price of £5.24.
