Chucklefish has just issued another update to Starbound, weighing in over 500MB. This fixes some of the bugs introduced by the, which added teleporters, planet bookmarking and ship-bound pets.
The teleporters were on the fritz and getting players stuck, so now that shouldn't happen! Also, an output quest NPC has gotten unlost, and ship upgrades shouldn't misplace doors. Plus, you can now suicide.
Yes, if you're really stuck then the new /suicide command will help you out. The team have also "greatly reduced server->client bandwidth" for player ship updates, as well improve general server stability. Terrain should also generate properly after they isolated a rare bug.
"We’ve been reading your feedback from last week’s stable update, and it seems like most people are really enjoying the new features. We’ve also seen reports of several minor bugs, so we’ve pushed out a new update which should address most of these."
