Addictive car-football game Rocket League will get some new DLC next month, developer Psyonix has announced. It'll drop alongside a free update that will add a Spectator Mode, alongside the usual bunch of fixes and tweaks.
The Supersonic Fury DLC will set you back $3.99/ €3.99, and adds two new vehicles; the Dominus, which looks like a typical American muscle car, and Takumi, a jazzed-up Japanese street racer.
There's also going to be six new decals for decking out your car, five new paint types, two rocket boosts, and two new wheel types. The free update, meanwhile, adds the Utopia Coliseum map, 70 new country flags, and Spectator Mode. That's not all the studio has planned, either.
“Further enhancements, like updated Goal explosions and Demolitions, are planned for the free update as well,” says Psyonix, “along with the brand new song, “Firework,” from the critically-acclaimed electronica group, Hollywood Principle.”
I'm not cool enough to have any idea who that is, but hey, who cares when we're getting free stuff. The Supersonic Fury DLC and the free patch will drop sometime in August.
