Square Enix has been dropping a ton of info about the worst kept secret of January, namely the PC port of Rise of the Tomb Raider. The company is keeping the flow going with new information announced today, the newest of which is the PC requirements for the game.
Here’s what you’ll need to run the minimum settings for Rise of the Tomb Raider:
OS: Windows 7 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 650 2 GB or AMD HD7770 2 GB
RAM: 6 GB
HD Space: 25 GB
DirectX: DirectX 11
Input: Mouse + Keyboard
Of course, this is just the minimum, and probably nowhere near what you’ll need if you’re looking looking to capitalize on the 4K settings that have also been confirmed for the game. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are dedicated to bringing “stunning visual detail” to the game, especially for PC gamers apparently. For anyone with a good rig, this will be welcome news.
Square Enix dropped the veil on Rise of the Tomb Raider earlier today with an official release date, special and standard edition pricing, and 4K support earlier today.
