Ubisoft continue their 30th anniversary celebrations on uPlay. This time the publisher is giving away the 2002 classic, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell. Ubisoft’s promotion started last month when they promised to give one free game away each month until December. Last month the game was Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell marked the beginning of a somewhat ‘rivalry’ between Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid games. The only real comparison between the two series is that the Splinter Cell games used to be heavily focused on the stealth aspect, though that hasn’t been the case for some time now.
If you choose to download Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell (or any of the games in this promotion), you will be allowed to keep these games forever. You don’t have to worry about playing the games within the month they have launched, or whether you’ll be able to play them throughout the promotion – they are yours to keep.
Make sure you grab the games while they are up, because once they go down your only other choice will be to purchase the games outright. Click here to download Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell on uPlay.
