Battlefield 1's multiplayer Beta has been underway for a few days now. Whether you were attempting to ruin the fields in some armor, slice some shoulders with your saber, or pop some heads with your favorite firearm, there's quite a bit of stuff you didn't see, but is hidden in the Beta's code. Specifically, datamining has revealed a slew of new information on unseen gadgets in Battlefield 1.
This info comes from YouTube user Westie, who had already posted a video last week featuring weapons that had been discovered in the game's code which weren't available in the Beta. This time around, Westie brought forth a video that unearthed gadgets from across all the classes of the game that also appeared in the game's code, but had not been implemented in the Beta as of yet.
Of the gadgets that had been unearthed, Assault appears to have code for a magnetic limpet mine and a bipod rocket launcher. Medic may have access to a vehicle repairing wrench and various rifled grenades which can be used like grenade launchers. Support featured an anti-air and anti-vehicle mortar. Finally, Scout had a trench shield for protected sniping, as well as a helmet decoy that can be deployed and reveals enemies that shoot at it.
As these were in the code of the Beta, it can't be said whether they make up final additions to the gadget list. The finality of these mentioned gadgets themselves may change before the final release of the game. Still, their presence in the code of the Beta points to expanded possibilities, strengths, and weaknesses to be considered for each class as we come ever closer to Battlefield 1's release.
Battlefield 1 is due out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 21 October, 2016. You can see the full video of unearthed Battlefield 1 gadgets below.
