Excited about the new Total War: WARHAMMER game? Here’s another reason to build that excitement: The Bretonnia will be playable in Custom Battles and multiplayer.
If you have no idea of who the Bretonnia are or why you should be excited about their arrival, here is a snippet of the press release that gives you a bit of their backstory:
“Characterised by a range of powerful armoured units, including the iconic barded warhorses and flying Pegasus Knights; Bretonnian battle tactics frequently revolve around shattering and unstoppable charges. Also of note is the devastating Trebuchet artillery, and the numerous massed ranks of archers, capable of filling the air with swarms of arrows. While Bretonnian armies might lack the huge monsters that other races can often employ, they can bring to bear powerful magic users in the guise of Enchantresses; capable not only of offensive spells but also powerful buffs to further enhance their knights to superhuman levels.”
Could Total War: WARHAMMER be good enough to get on our list of The Best Strategy Games on PC?
The only caveat of this news is that the Bretonnia won’t be playable in the Grand Campaign, however, players will be able to use them in the multiplayer (and let’s be honest, that’s the most important aspect).
