If you’re on the fence about Bespin, Battlefront’s most recent expansion, then EA is looking to give you a taste of what you’re missing with two Open Trials in August and September. That’s “free” for current Battlefront owners, mind you, so don’t expect a free weekend with the game itself.
The first Open Trial will run the weekend from Friday, August 19 to Sunday, August 21 and the second will cover the longer timeframe of Monday, September 12 to Sunday, September 18. You’ll visit iconic locations from the gas-mining colony including the carbonite chamber, and even take to the air in a cloud car.

The Bespin DLC is available for $14.99, or as part of the $49.99 season pass with three other expansions and early access to each. The Outer Rim DLC hit earlier this year featuring locations on Sullust and Tatooine, and the Death Star pack releasing in September promises intense warfare on the galaxy’s most deadly battle station.
The final expansion, due early in 2017, will feature content from the upcoming film Rogue One. Battlefront 2 was announced in an EA earnings call, but we don’t yet know exactly when to expect it.
