System Shock: Remastered hit its funding goal in a matter of days, and now the project’s sitting at $1.2 million with a little over 24 hours to go. The developers at Nightdive studio are looking to bring it home with a 24-hour live stream featuring veterans from around the industry, and if you’ve any interest in the people who make good video games, it should be worth tuning into.
System Shock: Remastered is, naturally, a remastered edition of the classic role-playing action game by Looking Glass. Studio alums Warren Spector and Paul Neurath were on hand for a shorter stream yesterday featuring a playthrough of the remastered edition’s pre-alpha demo as well as the original game. You can check out the archive here. Spector and Neurath are currently at OtherSide Entertainment, and are at work on System Shock 3.
