Hey, folks! You can tune intoMonday through Friday at 8PM GMT/4PM Eastern for an hour long stream of the latest and maybe greatest in PC gaming. We’ll be hitting big new releases, indie curiosities, and Early Access works-in-progress, so be sure to have a look for first impression gameplay footage of a wide variety of titles.
Today we’re checking out Samorost 3, the latest surreal adventure from Amanita Design, who you may also know as the makers of Botanicula and Machinarium. The first two Samorosts were short-form point-and-click adventures that traded traditional narrative and inventory puzzles for surreal visuals and experimental, screen-by-screen gameplay. They were real neat!
You play as a spacefaring gnome using a magic flute to travel the cosmos and discover its origins, and over the course of the game you’ll discover nine alien worlds. It’s available on Steam right now for $19.99.
Will Samorost 3 manage to build the simplistic play of the originals into a worthwhile feature-length title? Will we meet that adorable anteater? Tune in today at PM GMT/4PM Eastern to find out!
