Pretty much every action game fan knows that Team Ninja have been incredibly disappointing in the last five years, at least when you consider the quality of Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2. From creating two of the greatest action games of the last decade to creating games like Metroid: Other M, it’s been pretty bad for both the developers and Team Ninja’s fans.
However, if you remain hopeful that Team Ninja can pull something out of the bag then you have this new project to look forward to. Keiji Yamagishi, composer of the Ninja Gaiden music, has confirmed that there is a new Ninja Gaiden project in the works.
Yamagishi tweeted earlier on today the following statement: ”Pleased to announce that I’m working on a new project related to Ninja Gaiden. I’ll be able to share more news in July!” We are still unsure what this new project could be.
The last Ninja Gaiden game to be released on PC was Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z back in 2014. We reviewed the game and, well, it received a 2 out of 10 from Stevie Grant.
