We're on the home-stretch when it comes to Paragon's game-changing update. The December patch will usher in a new age for Epic's ambitious MOBA title, but there's going to be more than one way to celebrate the dawn of a new era when the Winterfest activities kick in around the same time.
Starting today, you'll be able to get your hands on new Winterfest loot solely from outside Paragon itself. Teaming up with a few big-name Paragon streamers and YouTube content creators, they'll be dishing out codes used to grab reputation, card packs, boosts and, of course, exclusive Winterfest skins.
There's a couple ways to go about nabbing a code throughout the event. You can keep an eye on Aylit's YouTube channel to spot some code giveaways in their new and upcoming videos, or link your Twitch account to your game account so 'OfficialParagonBot' can throw one at you during specific Twitch broadcasts. It'll let you know if there's one waiting for you - but you'll see a notification in-game, too, in case you miss the little guy.
Paragon introduced a new hero earlier this month - his name in Crunch. Want to see him action? Head this way.
The event is split into 2 'Weeks' - with the first (on now) making way for the second on December 6. Each week has slightly different rewards when it comes to the Twitch item drops listed above, but items earned through codes won't be mixed up between weeks. The Twitch items in question are as follows;
Week 1 Twitch Drops (Nov. 29 - Dec. 5)
- Reputation
- Card Packs
- Boosts
- Jingle Bombs Iggy & Scorch
- Ugly Sweater Gadget
- Old Saint Rik
Week 2 Twitch Drops (Dec. 6 - Dec. 12)
- Reputation
- Card Packs
- Boosts
- Peppermint Kallari
- Yuletide Feng Mao
- Old Saint Rik
Why Epic would rather have its playerbase essentially quit playing the game to watch others do the same instead is beyond us, but there's no question MOBA fans like their in-game skins, so there's no doubt it'll have the effect Epic seem to want so much right now. If you happen to miss your chance, the skins will become available for purchase come December 13. You can read more about the event here.
