It's nothing new to hear of someone involved in the game industry planning to put out their own title. We're all part of a constantly growing market that has its talons clenched firmly on our brains. Anthology is another such product of the inspiration video games bring to us practically every day, and it's headed by someone who supplies publications like this the news that keeps us going.
Being put together by a small team pieced together by Lewis Denby, it isn't the man's first shot at making a game of his own. Richard & Alice was his last attempt, and it's still something you should definitely pick up if you're at all a fan of the point n' click adventure genre or human enough to feel emotion.
Anthology being his next, he's venturing out from handling the public relations of other people's games, Lewis is back at making his own - while still handling the spread of information about others. Much like his previous work, Antholgy looks to be an extenstion of his understanding of the genre in which he'll spin the tales of multiple events happening at the same time in the same fictional town.

Khaled Makhshoush in on-board to handle background art while Lewis has drafted in A Golden Wake creator Francisco Gonzalez to conjure up character art and animation while he's already working on Lamplight City.
Of course, it's still early days yet. While the title has a debut trailer to set the tone going forward - and even a Steam page - there's no mention of a potential release date in mind. Making video games is hard work, and when you're balancing multiple jobs at the same time, you can never commit to something so soon. But it should land at some point within the year. Hopefully.
