With Hideo Kojima befriending his heroic actor - Mads Mikkelsen - and slotting him into a 15 minute YouTube segment after bringing him on-board with Death Stranding, you may have ended up watching The Salvation.
If that holds up to be a true prediction, you may just have the sudden urge to play a game set within a similar time period. Being an emotional tale of revenge, we can't expect Western 1849 Reloaded's shooting gallery to hold an oil lamp to that kind of big-budget writing - but you'll still get to blast a few cowboys.
Western 1849 Reloaded is, as you'd expect, a Western. Set in wherever the specific locations of the Wild West tend to be, there's about as much reason to pull out your revolver here as there ever has been in a Hollywood adaption - you're trigger-happy and there's some bad guys doing bad things. the Quicksilver guns are your enemy, and they're causing a good old-fashioned ruckus in Sunset Bluff.
It's time to draw out from the holster and prove there's always someone better. They might big themselves up at being swift on the hammer, but your solid ability to roll behind cover should give you the upper-hand when it comes to popping off the rogues as they pop out from their own hiding spots.
If the idea of mixing a shooting gallery with some Borderlands-esque visuals and roguelike character progression sounds compelling - Western 1849 Reloaded make for a good spittoon in your saloon.
