We've all had around a month to dwell, rewatch and recap the events of this year's E3. If you've done well, you'll know all about Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and how things evidently didn't go too well following on from The New Order.
The trailer used to introduce the game Bethesda teased during last year's show turned out to be half in-game footage and half artistically crafted propaganda television made to reflect the fact that the Third Reich still went on to claim power over the United States despite B.J Blazkowicz's best efforts.
Lengthened for the good of the people, one of the stand-out 'shows' of the The New Colossus' programming blocks was a post-war era gameshow counting down the days when the English language would be completely outlawed in favor of German - it's 'German... Or Else!'
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Makes A Bloody Splash At Bethesda's E3 Show - Due This October
Moving into its final round, it's all to play for as both contestants are expected to beat the buzzer and extract and translate the 'abstract nouns' from the presenter's sentences. A common question across the land these days is "Have you been learning your German?" with this contest awarding cash money to those who can prove themselves against - so long as they're willing to risk losing and being sent to 4 weeks of re-education.
If you know your Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung from your gehorsam, you could win yourself 1000 Deutschmark! If you're having pronunciation problems with that first one, however, there's a handy revision video down below. And remember - German... or else! Or just rebel against the cause in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus this October.
