Kicking off the idea that October is the spookiest month of the year, Iceberg Interactive have selected October 5 as the day we'll get to play 'Inmates' - a psychological horror game set in one of most dire places you could imagine. Then it turns out the lights.
A prison, barring Alcatraz, is a place you'd usually associate with violence more than horror. Inmates, however, wants to challenge that through its strategic use of lighting, cages and corridors.
Ahead of its October 5 release, Iceberg Interactive has dropped the appropriately named 'Despair' trailer hoping to get your blood pumping and your heart beating rapidly. It's only natural one causes the other, after all.

You're Jonathan now. Pulling the usual minor case of amnesia excuse you wake up in a dark and dingy prison cell completely oblivious to how you arrived in such a sticky situation. Likewise, you have no idea why the cells are empty, what could have been in there, and why there's a child roaming around. Puzzles and exploration hold the answers.
Totally dependant on your ability to solve 'intense and mind-bending puzzles' Iceberg Interactive estimate a full clear of Inmates to take around 3-4 hours. So if you're planning a Halloween gaming session, this one shouldn't have your backseat gaming friends heading home before things get good.
