Given news that Dying Light's refusal to stay dead means its due 10 new pieces of DLC over the next 12 months, developers Techland have detailed when to expect the drops to start, and what Drop #0 has in store.
With 10 DLC drops arriving over the course of a 12 month period, it's likely difficult to imagine specific months for each. That being said, we now know that the first will start in September - so scratch that one off your list.
Even so, Dying Light recieved a DLC drop just this morning that acts as a taster of what's to come - but doesn't take one away from the promised 10 drops. So, in actuality, it's 11 drops in 14 months give the official start day of the promised goods. The first drop includes a new faction of soliders, the 'Mutated Goon' enemy and the 'Hunted' outfit.
But that's not all. In further bid to keep the limelight shining on their game, Techland have released 'Gemly' - a digital distribution platform they'll be using to ship out more exclusive content and a number of their own games and third-party titles. They're planning a community hub for their own titles going forward, but that's not in there just yet. The first exclusive bonus, however is; the Harran Military Rifle for, you guessed it, Dying Light.
To celebrate the news of Dying Light's continued success, Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition is 60% off on Techland's new Gemly platform. That's one way to kick things off.
