You've been seeing it on Gamewatcher and plastered all over gaming magazines for a while now, but you might be getting some hands-on time with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 3 earlier than you first thought.
Emails have been circulating over the weekend for those subscribed to Relic Entertainment's mailing list offering up light details on how the company expects to draft in players for some upcoming beta tests.
Those with the emails landing in their inboxes have noted a referral survey being available for those who weren't signed up for the newsletter during the mail merge allowing just about anyone to try their hands and getting into playtests a little earlier.
The beta application itself comes as a fairly in-depth servey asking potential players to disclose their RTS/MOBA history and experience alongside their system specs. Likely just trying to gather up the most diverse playtest groups through the potential pool of candidates, it's the kind of situation where you'll have no idea of your chances of acceptance until the day the invitation emails go out.
The given sequence of instructions doesn't give a film date to schedule off for testing, but does suggest that builds will be released sooner rather than later. Scheduled for a full release at some point this year, we can only imagine development is going down smoothly.
