Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly have teased Total War: Warhammer 3’s Tides of Torment DLC during today’s Warhammer Skulls 2025 showcase, giving us a glimpse at what’s coming our way later this year.
Warhammer 3’s newest Lords Pack introduces three new legendary lords for us to control in the sprawling Immortal Empires campaign mode and custom battles. They bring new units and gameplay mechanics to their respective factions, while a serving of free content will also accompany the DLC.
Total War: Warhammer 3: Tides of Torment DLC Teased Warhammer Skulls 2025
“In the far reaches of the Warhammer world an infamous arch sorcerer conducts the ultimate betrayal, turning on friends as if they were foes, and unleashing a hellspawn that will forever be in his deadly servitude,” reads a rather ominous stage-setting blurb from an emailed press release.
So far, Creative Assembly has kept most details regarding Total War: Warhammer 3: Tides of Torment DLC under wraps, although it did previously reveal Dechala, the Denied One, as the new legendary lord joining Slaanesh’s roster.
A second lord will be revealed tomorrow at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET/3 PM BST, while the DLC itself promises “a show of sorcery, treachery, and betrayal.” Warhammer 3’s Tides of Torment DLC is expected to release sometime during summer 2025.
Since the launch of the Omens of Destruction DLC, the developer has stopped supporting the Realm of Chaos campaign with its new content releases, opting to focus on the more popular and considerably larger Immortal Empires.
As part of the Warhammer Skulls festival, Total War: Warhammer III and its DLC are also on sale with discounts going as high as 75%.
