If you're into turn-based strategy RPGs with a grid and stage feel, you'll probably recognise where Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark gained its inspiration. Looking for help on Kickstarter, it's a stab at a classic that already has a demo.
Two decades later and fans of PlayStation classic 'Final Fantasy Tactics' still feel like they're not even close to a true successor. Though Square Enix rarely utters the name these days, they did help publish Children of Zodiarks, an indie title heavily inspired by their own. With hopeful fans of the classic feeling let down by its card system, perhaps Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark can help pick up the pieces.
Apparently already dubbed the spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, it isn't difficult to see why. Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark is a story-based tactical RPG that's aiming to be a true 40 hour RPG that leans heavily on the art style of the game's before it - meaning a softer colour palette and low-frame animation.
