Culinary puzzler Automachef now has a release date and it’s not too far away. Publisher Team 17 and developer Hermes Interactive today announced that players eager to build their own automated restaurants will be able to do so come July 23, when the game is set to launch on PC and Nintendo Switch.
Starting today, players can also get a taste of what Automachef has to offer before launch, as a Steam demo is now available. The demo contains 2 tutorial levels and 3 levels from the campaign.
Automachef Release Date
Automachef gives players the tools they need to build the automated restaurant of their dreams. You’ve an open space and a variety of machines that create, mix and transport food. All you have to do is put them together in such a manner that your french fries make their way to those who would eat them instead of turning into ash.
In Automachef, players will be able to “tackle intricate spatial, resource management and scenario puzzles” across three different modes. The Steam demo lets you delve a bit into the game’s Campaign mode, but there’s also Contracts mode, which has you building a business, alongside Test Site Mode that allows for significantly more freedom in designing your food making contraptions. On PC, Automachef will also come with mod support.
You can check out Automachef’s most recent trailer below and follow it on Steam to make sure you can jump in and tinker with its kitchens right when its release date comes by.
