When it comes to video games, getting over-hyped is not an issue, but a feature. We've all done it - overstated certain features of some piece of content only to be disappointed. There's a similar reveal in store for you here, in relation to the newly announced DLC for the Bioware classics. Namely, Beamdog have announced that they've got some brand new content packs cooking for all of the titles they've worked on so far, which includes Enhanced Edition versions of Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, and Neverwinter Nights. If you're wondering what sort of witchcraft Beamdog must be casting to be able to pull off that amount of content out of nowhere and announce it all in one fell swoop, it's time for a bucket of cold water: the DLC consists of voice-overs and portrait packs. Beamdog have contacted the cast of Waffle Crew, a beloved group of DnD streamers, to try and get them to record voice-over packs for each of the aforementioned titles. Naturally, the crew agreed, and are now recording the lines in question. The DLC will be released across all of the platforms Beamdog's games have come out on, which includes Google Play as well, interestingly enough. No word yet on the pricing, though.
