Bradley the Badger counts among the more surprising reveals we were treated to during 2025’s The Game Awards. Few of us were expecting an action-adventure game whose satirical meta-narrative follows a star of hit platforming titles as he explores different worlds, fixing up unfinished assets using a special, versatile tool. It’s a pretty awesome concept that has us wondering whether or not Bradley the Badger is going to be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Normally, seeing unfinished assets in our fully released games would count as an unforgivable oversight, but Bradley the Badger turns it into a core game mechanic. Using the aforementioned tool, known as the Kit, we can turn objects into explosive projectiles, multiply them, extend stubborn platforms, but also turn the protagonist himself into specific objects to help navigate tricky terrain.
Bradley the Badger PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Release
During its official reveal, we learned that Bradley the Bagder is confirmed to launch on PC, via Steam. Publisher and developer Day 4 Night Studios did, however, explain in a press release that “the team [is] exploring additional platforms and consoles.”

This essentially means that, while the PC is currently the development team’s focus, Bradley the Badger could release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at some point in the future.
Since no release date was shared at the time of its original announcement, there’s a good chance that the title is at least several months away.
It’s difficult to say whether or not we can or should expect a simultaneous release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, but knowing the developer is looking into bringing its debut titles to consoles should put some of our worries to rest.
That is what we know so far about whether or not Bradley the Badger is going to release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. More details will likely be shared over the coming weeks and months.
