Call of Duty: Warzone’s Dev Error 6328 has been plaguing players since the free-to-play battle royale launched, hampering their enjoyment during their time in Verdansk.
The battle royale mode, in fact, inherited the error from Modern Warfare, whose players have been encountering it for months now. Here’s everything we know about Call of Duty: Warzone’s Dev Error 6328 and whether or not it can be fixed.
Call of Duty: Warzone Dev Error 6328
The cause behind Call of Duty: Warzone’s Dev Error 6328 eludes both players and developers, as it continues occuring at seemingly random times.
Some players are reporting it when starting the game or a specific mode, others say it crashes Call of Duty: Warzone in the middle of matches or right at the end. The frequency of these crashes also varies, sometimes disappearing out of the blue before reappearing days later.
There’s currently no universal fix for Call of Duty: Warzone’s Dev Error 6328, and those found by players haven’t had widespread success.
In some cases, moving the game’s folder to a new partition or reinstalling the title seems to have worked. Others have had success by going to C:\Users<username>\Documents\Warzone and deleting the archive, players, players2 and report folders found within.
Other fixes for the Dev Error 6328 include adding -d3d11 to Call of Duty: Warzone’s launch options and switching your display to the HDMI port, although, none of these has proved to work for the great majority of players.
Call of Duty: Warzone is free-to-play and available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
