After reviving a classic and terrifying us with the excellent Silent Hill 2 remake, Bloober Team spared no time in revealing Cronos: The New Dawn as its upcoming project. When its release date comes around, the title will cast us into a world whose distinct aesthetics blend Eastern European brutalism with retro-futurist technology.
The bulky suit and pistol donned by the protagonist in the game’s reveal trailer already suggest that we’ll explore places that don’t necessarily welcome us, and that’s before we catch a glimpse of the misshapen amalgamations of flesh that pose a significant threat.
Cronos: The New Dawn Release Date
Cronos: The New Dawn’s release date is currently slated to occur on September 5th, 20255, when we’ll bear witness to the aftermath of a cataclysmic event known as The Change.

Stepping into the role of a Traveler, an agent of an enigmatic organization known as Collective, we brave futuristic wastelands while searching for time rifts that transport us back to 1980s-era Poland.
Once there, our goal is to find key people from the past, extract their essence using the “all-powerful Harvester,” and return to our ravaged future.
While Bloober Team has dedicated years to building its reputation as a developer of horror games, Cronos: The New Dawn’s release date marks the studio’s first-ever attempt at crafting a third-person survival horror experience.
Cronos: The New Dawn is slated to launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2. More details are expected to be shared over the coming months.
