Deathloop's hotfix 1.708.4.0 is now live, its patch notes revealing the first step towards fixing the stuttering issues that have been affecting PC players since launch.
Hotfix 1.708.4.0 addresses Deathloop's camera-related stuttering issues, hopefully translating into a smoother experience for those players who've encountered them while sneaking and shooting their way across Blackreef.
The patch notes for Deathloop's hotfix 1.708.4.0 keep things short and sweet and you can find them below, as shared by the publisher:
- This hotfix addresses an issue experienced by some players on PC whereby mouse-based camera movement could result in the appearance of "stutter."
The team behind the game is also "looking into a separate, but related issue that we have identified as a factor that may also be a cause of stuttering at high framerates," and will provide an update as soon as possible.
While reviewing Deathloop, we didn't encounter any stuttering, but did see framedrops and our fair share of crashes. Luckily, they didn't detract too much from what's otherwise an excellent immersive sim.
Deathloop is out now on PC and PS5.
