Original: Publisher and developer Codemasters today announced that it has pushed back the Dirt 5 release date by a week.
Initially slated to launch on October 9, Dirt 5’s new release date has been moved to October 16, which is when the racing game will now arrive on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
The next-gen version of the game will arrive on Xbox Series X and PS5 later in 2020 as a free upgrade for owners of Dirt 5’s current-gen versions.
Dirt 5 Release Date
Those willing to hop in and play Dirt 5 ahead of its new release date can do so by purchasing the game’s Amplified Edition.
Aside from exclusive cars, sponsors, rewards and liveries, Dirt 5 Amplified Edition also provides access to the game three days earlier, on October 13, as well as every single post-launch addition that the game is set to receive.

Dirt 5’s post-launch content will feature “a minimum of 12 new cars, 60 new Career events, new player sponsors with fresh rewards and liveries, and more items for features yet to be revealed”, according to its Steam page.
