Once Human is not currently in development for console platforms, however, developer Starry Studio says it may consider a console port in the future. “We will carefully [be] deciding whether to release the game to console based on the testing and player feedback.”.
Once Human, a multiplayer open-world survival game set in a bizarre, post-apocalyptic future, has launched on Steam. It was also made available on mobile platforms, which includes Android and iOS.
Will Once Human ever release on consoles?
The status of the console release was last checked on the 17th of July 2024.
It seems unlikely that Once Human will be available on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S until at least 2025, particularly since it has just launched on PC and mobile devices.
We feel that Starry Studio will focus on gathering feedback and developing a roadmap for the PC version before considering a console release.
The last comment on console ports came on the 3rd of July, where it replied to a fan request on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying: “As soon as we have an update on the game’s release on consoles, we’ll let you know right away.”
- GameWatcher’s estimation for a PS5 release of Once Human: 2025
Should Once Human be released on consoles such as the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S, we expect it will feature crossplay, similar to its PC, Android, and iOS versions.
You can find Once Human on Steam.
