Doom Eternal’s collectibles come in several shapes and sizes but not all of them reveal what they are before you’ve picked them up. These secrets are spread all throughout levels like Taras Nabad, often hiding cheat codes or albums that unlock cool tracks you can listen to in the Fortress of Doom.
Here are the locations of all the secrets found while recovering your Crucible in Doom Eternal’s Taras Nabad level.

First Sentinel Battery
Right at the start, when you first drop down you'll notice a Codex page. From where it is, take a few steps forward to drop down and turn around. You should be facing a breakable wall. Punch it and follow the path towards the first Sentinel Battery.
Doom 2016 - BFG Division Album
The first secret on your way to retrieving your Crucible in Doom Eternal is near the start of the level. Go through the massive gate with the two elevated dog statues guarding it.
Make a right past the fuel canister and you should spot a small crumbled bridge portion. Walk off, then quickly turn around and grab the ledge with the question mark. That’s your first Taras Nabad secret, the Doom 2016 - BFG Division Album.
First Secret Encounter
Progress further until you reach an open courtyard with a large statue on the opposite side. As you enter, make a left towards the wall, then another left. Punch the cracked wall to uncover the first Taras Nabad Secret Encounter.
First Mastery Token
From the very spot where you started the Secret Encounter, turn left, go follow the vent and use the green button in front of you. That moves a statue in the courtyard while opening a previously locked gate. The moved statue also makes way for you to get out.
Turn right, then go through the opened gate to get your first Mastery Token.
Second Sentinel Battery
From the center of the same courtyard, walk past the statue in the distance, take the right set of stairs then make a right. Walk forward and look to your left as you do so until you spot a statue of a kneeling knight with a crack on it. Punch it and use the green button behind it.
Turn around, make a slight left then go to the now-opened room with the floor pulsating orange and the large weight hanging above. Climb the sticky wall on the left, jump from it, then punch the green segment of the chain holding the weight.
It will fall through the floor, opening the way to your next secret, a Sentinel Battery.
Cyber Mancubus Toy
Once you’ve moved past the acid lake, you’ll find yourself in another courtyard with a large set of stairs on your left. As you enter it, make a right and you should see another question mark behind a locked door.
To open it, you’ll need to find the kneeling knight at the base of the large stairs, on its right side. Punch it, use the green button, climb the stairs until the halfway point, then climb on the circular platform. The gate should open, letting you pick up Doom Eternal’s Cyber Mancubus Toy.
Second Secret Encounter and Powerup Mode: Overdrive Cheat Code
Further into the level, you’ll find yourself in a lower section with a charge of BFG ammo waiting for you. Climb the stairs going forward and make a left. Break the cracked wall and you’ll find both the Taras Nabad’s Secret Encounter as well as the Powerup Mode: Overdrive Cheat Code.
Marauder Toy
Upon reaching the courtyard with the massive fallen demon from which you retrieve your Crucible, climb towards it then look on the right for a portion of sticky wall. Jump to it, look to the left, then jump on the higher portion of its body.
Instead of moving forward, look below you, to the left – you should spot a ghostly knight holding a Praetor Suit Point in the distance. Drop down to its area, and look on the right side. Just before reaching the knight, you’ll see a cracked wall.
Punch it, walk over the question mark, and the Marauder Toy will be yours.
Quake II - Rage Album
After you’ve retrieved your Crucible, you’ll reach a circular indoor area of Taras Nabad with a throne placed under a large demon skull.
After you’ve activated the jump pads there, hop on the first one to the left as you enter, turn back, double dash towards the cracked wall, break it and hop inside. The Quake II - Rage Album awaits there.
Pain Elemental Toy
Progress further towards your main objective and you should reach an area that requires you take a long drop down. Before you jump, however, take note of the circular sewer hole below and on the left side of your objective marker.
Take a leap of faith and, once you’ve passed the sewer hole, dash twice through the breakable gate. This can be hard to pull off but, should you do it, you’ll unlock what’s perhaps the trickiest Secret in Doom Eternal’s Taras Nabad level: the Pain Elemental toy.
