Elden Ring's update 1.02 is slated to go live before the game's official launch later today. A look at its patch notes reveals fixes for frame drops, improvements to controls, and more.
A handful of balance adjustments are also making their way into the game when update 1.02 goes live, alongside fixes for some of Elden Ring's NPC events.
Here are all the changes and fixes coming to Elden Ring in update 1.02, as detailed by publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment in the full patch notes on its website:
- Improved player controls
- Addition and adjustment of BGM
- Text adjustments
- Balance adjustments
- NPC event fixes and adjustments
- Fixed frame rate drops under certain conditions
- Fixed text bug in some languages
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Xbox wireless headset from working properly
This first patch looks like a smaller update and it's very likely that more will follow once the game launches across the globe.
