FFXIV’s Heavensturn 2022 event kicks off the new year with a bang, celebrating its arrival with a couple of new rewards that players can obtain. Its start and end dates come as Endwalker’s first raid tier drops, giving players progressing through its higher difficulties a welcome distraction.
FFXIV’s Heavensturn 2022 event is one of the MMORPG’s multiple annual celebrations, although this year’s iteration started later than usual, following Endwalker’s delay.
Final Fantasy 14’s Heavensturn 2022 event has locked down its start date to January 5 at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET/8 PM GMT. Its end date is then slated to occur on January 19 at 6.59 AM PT/9.59 AM ET/2.59 PM GMT, giving players precisely two weeks to claim its new rewards

To participate in FFXIV’s Heavensturn 2022 event, you’ll first want to make sure that your character has reached level 15. You’ll then want to seek out an NPC called Tora Bugyo in Limsa Lominsa.
You’ll find the feline fanatic on the Upper Decks at coordinates X:11.5, Y:13.9. Talking to the NPC lets you pick up the quest called “Tangle with a Tora” which you’ll need to complete if you plan on obtaining the new rewards available this year.
Two hew head items are up for grabs – the Golden Tora Kabuto and Silver Tora Kabuto – alongside a furnishing item called The White Tiger. If you were looking to shake up your glamour with new samurai-themed headgear or give your home a new look, they’re very much worth pursuing.
In addition, items from previous years will be available at certain vendors, which is especially great if you’re one of the MMORPG’s newer players. You can take a look at the new goodies over on the event’s special website.
That’s what you need to know about Final Fantasy XIV’s Heavensturn 2022 event, its start, end dates, and rewards. For more on the MMORPG, check out when the weekly and daily resets happen.
