Publisher and developer Square Enix has revealed the release date of Final Fantasy 14’s upcoming Patch 5.5 while also detailing the content that it will introduce to the MMORPG.
Called Death Unto Dawn, FF14’s Patch 5.5 is split into two parts, the first of which will arrive as soon as April 14. That is also the date when the ongoing Moogle Treasure Trove event will come to an end.
Patch 5.5 promises a swathe of new content, including new main scenario quests that could bring Shadowbringers’ story to its conclusion and lead players into the Endwalker expansion that’s currently scheduled to release this Fall.
Players will also get to test their mettle in the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse raid and the Paglth’an dungeon. Updates are also on the way for Explorer Mode, Ishgardian Restoration, and more. Below, you’ll find the full list Patch 5.5 content, as detailed on its dedicated website:

The second part of Patch 5.5 is set to launch at some point at the end of May. Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PC and PS4.
