Publisher and developer Frontwire Studios today announced that a gameplay reveal for Galaxy in Turmoil, it’s Battlefront-like multiplayer-focused shooter, will take place on December 8.
Alongside Galaxy in Turmoil’s “first public look”, the developer will also host a Q&A session for fans curious about the goings-on surrounding the project.
Galaxy in Turmoil Gameplay Reveal
“We are still very much alive and kickin’. Working every day on something we hope will entice every single one of you to join us in exploring GiT’s universe.”, the post reads.
“We’ve been at this for the better part of 3 years and have hit a point that we feel confident the demo is a great representation of what to expect for the full game post successful Kickstarter.”, it continues.
Initially, Galaxy in Turmoil was a project meant to revive Star Wars Battlefront III, the follow-up to 2005’s Battlefront II. That plan was nipped in the bud by Lucas Arts with a cease-and-desist order that likely surprised nobody.
In the meantime, Galaxy in Turmoil dropped the Star Wars setting for a “cyber-punk themed universe with a bit of fantasy-flair thrown into the mix”.
The Galaxy in Turmoil gameplay reveal will take place on the developer’s Twitch channel. Until then, you can check out the title on Steam.
